ABOUT BRANCH 401 

In August of 2014 a new CSTC Branch was formed under the ownership of previous Branch Manager’s Bruce Winsor, Terry Fergusson and Lisa Winsor. All previous Branches were very successful and all continue to thrive under their new banner – Branch 401, with over 50 Sales Representatives and 8 management teams. Since the inception of Branch 401 manager support and training have been the key to a successful growing Branch. Over the last 6 years Bruce, Terry (BT) and their managers have led the Branch to some impressive accomplishments. The Branch has already achieved runner-up in the Top National Branch category along with several other awards of distinction.

 

The Branch’s Mission Statement states that the Branch wishes to become “the leader in recruiting, training and sales production in the Group R.E.S.P. Industry”. It specifies goals and values including putting the Subscribers’ interests first, dealing with all people in a fair and equitable manner, and fostering an atmosphere of team spirit, entrepreneurship, trust and camaraderie within the Branch. 

 

BT has certain expectations for people starting in the Branch to help ensure their success. These include an immediate association with a manager or training supervisor to assist in developing prospecting and selling skills. A Team meeting is held bi-weekly to update and inform all Reps of compliance and administrative updates, in addition to technical and sales training.  Training meetings are also held biweekly by Webinar to instruct new reps in the various aspects of selling RESPs. These meetings are facilitated by the Branch Owners along with top performers in Ontario, and all new Reps are expected to attend all Webinars to maintain the quality of Branch 401.

 

Bruce and Terry have been fortunate to work closely with some of the top Enrolment Directors in Ontario, and bring their knowledge as well as a well-developed work ethic to their job as Branch Owners. Their previous success and enthusiasm, as well as a wonderful management team, ensure that Branch 401 will continue to thrive well into the future.

 BRUCE WINSOR  

 

Bruce Winsor began with C.S.T. as a Sales Representative in late 1993 after being introduced to the business by Branch Manager Bill Winsor. In 1997 Bruce was promoted to District Manager after having achieved the “Top Twenty” in sales in both 1995 and 1996.  C.S.T. awarded Bruce with a Certificate of Merit in 1997 and the “Top District Manager Award” for 1998 with group sales in excess of 6500 net units. In 1999 Bruce purchased his own Branch (900) and achieved runner-up Branch in national competition on three occasions between 2000 and 2013.  Bruce studied Political Science at Bishop's University and worked in politics from 1990-1994.

TERRY FERGUSSON  

 

Terry Fergusson began with C.S.T. as a Sales Representative in 1996 after being introduced to the business by V.P. Administration Tom O'Shaughnessy. In 1998 Terry was promoted to District Manager after having achieved large personal sales in 1999.  C.S.T. awarded Terry with the “Top District Manager Award” for 2000. In 2003 Terry purchased his own Branch (669) and achieved runner-up in national competition on three occasions between 2003 and 2013. Terry studied business and art in College and worked as a business owner until he retired at the age of 49 and joined CSTC at 50.
